Highly rated Nigerian right full back Nura Abdullahi is back in Italy for pre season training with Roma although following the termination of his loan deal with Serie B side Perugia.
Nura was in line to continue his loan spell with Perugia but it was cancelled after the club raised fears over the heart issue that made them grant him a 30 days rest last season following his loan move.
Owngoalnigeria.com caught up with the 20 year old at the FIFA Goal Project training pitch where he came to watch the U20s and 17s before his departure to Italy last week and the Kaduna born full back took out time to explain his present health condition.
” I’m feeling better and never have I been this fit for a while. The idea is to keep pushing and doing my best, which I am thinking will help my bid to return back to my best physical shape “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” Last season I was only told to have a rest and nothing more. Leaving Perugia isn’t the end of the world for me. For now I’m back at Roma and a decision on my next move will be made shortly”, he concluded.
