Chelsea Nigeria international defender Ola Aina is focused on a move out of England despite interest from several English Championship teams, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Aina spent last season on loan to English Championship side Hull City but he appears to have decided against a return to the English second tier with his mind set on a move abroad where two Italian teams are interested in his services.
Torino and fellow Serie A side Frosinone have contacted his representatives and a source close to the player revealed a move to Italy looks more likely for now although he has not entirely ruled out a move to the English Championship.
” If he (Aina) is interested in a Championship team he would have left but the idea is to develop further elsewhere. Aina want to test himself in a different league because that will make him a better player”, a source close to the player told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” For now, Italy looks like his surest destination but anything can still happen particularly when you consider the fact that Chelsea will also have a say in his final destination. A move to the Championship is not entirely dead”, he concluded.
