Libyan Champions Al-Nasr Signs Ex Super Eagles Defender Azubuike Egwuekwe & Nathaniel Joseph

As part of their preparations for their campaign in the CAF Champions League Libyan Premier League Champions Al-Nasr have signed the Nigerian duo of Azubuike Egwuekwe and Nathaniel Joseph, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Egwuekwe who was a part of the Nigerian team that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and also made the squad to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil was signed as a free agent following his release by South Africa PSL side SuperSport United.

He played just 12 league games for the PSL side and scored twice ‎following his move from Finnish side KuPS on a transfer fee in the region of $270,000 ‎a little over a year ago.

At Al-Nasr he has agreed a two year deal and he will be unveiled later today alongside another Nigerian in Nathaniel Joseph who also penned a two year deal with the Libyan side.

Nathaniel Joseph Las played for Lobi Stars of Nigeria and also played for the B team of the senior national team of Nigeria largely made up of players picked from the Nigeria Profesional Football League teams.
