Victor Osimhen Audacious Back Heel Goal Nominated For Goal Of The Week In Belgium

The first professional goal of the career of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen could win the goal of the week in Belgium as it is presently among the goals up for voting after the latest round of games in the Belgium top division.

Osimhen opened scoring for his loan side Charleroi with a back heel against Waasland-Beveren in the game which ended 1-1 and the manner which he scored with his back to goal has earned him a nomination.

The Nigerian showed glimpses of his undoubted potentials against Waasland-Beveren, a rise many will be hoping he sustained after he failed to establish himself at German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg since turning professional 18 months ago.

Marked as one to watch when he stole the headlines for the Nigerian team with ten goals at the 2015 World Youth Championship, he has since made the step up to the Nigerian U20, 23 and even the senior national team of Nigeria within a space of just a year and half.
