Watford Coach Gracia Assures Nigerians – Isaac Success Is Not The Same I Knew When I Arrived


Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria did the right thing in calling up Watford forward Isaac Success if the words of his coach Javi Garcia is anything to go by, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.


Success was handed a recall to the senior national team of Nigeria by coach Gernot Rohr for the upcoming AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against Libya in Uyo and Tunis respectively.

His invitation came on the back of the of an injury free campaign for the power playing forward so far after coming through pre season unscathed for the first time since his big money move from Granada to Watford.

Gracia has backed the forward to reach the potential that made him a hit in Spain while playing for La Liga side Granada in his note prior to their last league game against Arsenal.

“Isaac Success now is not the same Isaac Success I knew when I arrived,” he said.

“He is another player because when I arrived he started to train after being injured and he went on loan to Malaga.

“He started pre-season training really well and I think now he is fit and he is the Isaac Success I saw when he played in Granada.

“In the last game he played really well, scoring a goal again like against Reading. He is helping the team and defending well with good movements.

“He is playing alone sometimes but he is creating good chances for the team and I am very happy with his behaviour and his level.”
