On loan Wolfsburg of Germany forward Victor Osimhen increased his goal count to three goals in his last four games with another goal as they slumped to a 1-2 defeat away to Charleroi.
Osimhen was once again handed a start after his impressive form in the last three games of Charleroi and the 20 year old didn’t disappoint with a fine all round performance capped with a goal.
Up against Cercle Brugge, one of the teams he trained with while searching for a place to spend this season on loan, Osimhen showed them a bit of what he is made of with a cool finish to draw Charleroi level in the 32nd minute.
He appeared to have injured himself when he went down unchallenged few minutes before the half time break but he picked up himself and completed the game which his team lost due to an unfortunate own goal.
No doubt his form has picked up since moving to Charleroi and with the club having the option of signing him permanently at the end of his loan spell, his performances has no doubt put him in the frame for a permanent deal.
