The camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria welcomed eight new players into their fold ahead of the start of training later today in preparation for the weekend game against Libya, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Leon Balogun and Ahmed Musa led the new arrivals in camp with Jamilu Collins and Bordeaux of France wing forward Samuel Kalu completing the list.
Others include Shehu Abdullahi and goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa and reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com has it that eight more players are also expected in the next one hour.
Their arrival means the camp now has 12 players although that number could swell to 18 in the next one hour as players are slowly getting connecting flights to Uyo after experiencing difficulties earlier on due to a political gathering in the city.
Owngoalnigeria.com will continue to monitor the arrival of players for the crunch tie which could see Nigeria dethrone Libya as group leaders with a win and results elsewhere in the game between South Africa and Seychelles going their way.
