Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla says Villarreal Nigerian teen prospect Samuel Chukwueze has all it takes to have a successful career if he keeps working hard at the club.
Chukwueze progressed from the U18s to the main team in just a year and Cazorla who has been guiding the 19 year old Nigerian said his rise through the ranks in such a short time is a testament of his undoubted potentials.
A part of the all conquering Nigerian U17 team of 2015, Chukwueze has become a regular member of the first team in training since making his debut in the Europa League and Cazorla says he is something special.
” He is young and willing to learn and that will help his career here at Villarreal and maybe even further. The reason why he is here is because he is special. The hard work starts now for him and other young players in the team”, Cazorla said in an interview in the Spanish press translated by Owngoalnigeria.com.
Tipped for a future call up to the senior national team of Nigeria, Chukwueze is expected to have more game time for Villarreal in the second half of this season when the team is expected to play many games in between few days.
