Former MFM striker Stephen Odey was once again on target for his Swiss side as they secure a 3-2 win over German side Bayern Leverkusen in the Europa League third round round of group games.
Odey was on target at the weekend against Young Boys in the Swiss top division and this time around he justified the decision to start him upfront as the lone striker with the winning goal for his side in the 78th minute.
The goal was his ninth of the season from 15 games in all competitions as he continue to make his mark in Europe following his move in October last year to the Swiss side from Nigeria Profesional Football League side MFM FC.
In the league he has found the back of the net three times, while he has also scored five times in the Swiss Cup and his latest strike happens to be his first in three Europa League games this season.
20 year old Odey has also improved his all round play as he has flourish as a lone striker although he has mostly played in a twin striker role and sometimes on the right of a front three in attack.
