Coach of Watford Javi Gracia has picked his best goal among the goals scored by Roberto Pereyra, Gerard Deulofeu in his team 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Gracia’s team put up a dominant display to move up to 7th on the log standing in the English Premier League but the coach was quick to play down the feat insisting on his team shifting their focus to their next game.
Quizzed about the best among the three goals scored by his team which include two wonderful individual goals scored by Pereyra and Deulofeu, the coach however selected the third goal scored by Nigeria international forward Isaac Success as his best goal of the game.
He explained the nature of the goal which came from a quick free-kick that involves passes is the reason behind his choice because he prefers collective goals although he admitted that all the goals scored by his team were amazing.
“I preferred the last one! After a free-kick and three good passes Isaac was able to score his first goal in the Premier League. I prefer collective goals but all were amazing goals”, the coach said at the post match press conference.
“We’ve tried many times. It’s important to dominate all of the different moments of the play. Huddersfield have scored four goals before today from set pieces and today we have defended well against them. It was very demanding for us.”
