Former MFM forward Stephen Odey found the back of the net once again for his Swiss side FC Zurich in their 2-3 loss away to FC St. Gallen in the Swiss top division, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Odey set up his team first goal with a well cushion pass to Benjamin Kololli who brought scores to 2-1 for FC Zurich who were at a time down by two goals before the half hour mark.
He got himself on the score sheet with virtually the last kick of the game but it ended up as a consolation as St. Gallen were already 3-1 up with his goal only reducing the deficit to 3-2 for his side.
The goal came minutes after he was booked and it was his 8th goal in 16 games this season in all competitions with four coming in the league and three scored in the Swiss Cup. The Europa League is where he has the least goals as he has scored just once.
His form has really picked up this season after his move a little over a year ago from Lagos based Nigeria Profesional Football League side MFM FC to the Swiss side following his exploits in the Nigeria top division.
