Nigeria international Moses Simon has been told by the coach of Spanish La Liga side Levante to improve on the speed at which he is learning and understanding Spanish language if he wants to get regular playing time.
Signed form Belgium side Gent in the summer, the 23 year old has found games hard to comeby since his return from the injury he suffered few days to the start of the season in Spain.
So far he has played a combined minute of 49 from three games with a goal to his name and according to coach Paco Lopez language barrier is the reason why he isn’t a regular yet in the team.
Lopez said virtually all the players in his starting line up speak same language unlike Simon and he could struggle to interpret instructions and formations if handed a starting role . Same issue according to the coach is why Ghanaian attacker Raphael Dwamena hasn’t played much this season.
He urged the duo to engage in extra classes to speed up their understanding and speaking ability of Spanish language, something Simon has already responded to the challenge by buying a book to help grasp the rudiments of the language.
