Moses Simon showed his worth for his La Liga side Levante in their Copa Del Rey clash against Lugo which ended 1-1 with the Nigerian playing from the start.
Simon has found it hard to reclaim his spot in the team after picking up an injury before the start of the season with his coach also pointing out his inability to speak Spanish as another reason why he isn’t get much game time.
However he was handed a start against Lugo in the Copa Del Rey and he put in an impressive shift in his usual style with smart dribbles, flicks and tricks which left his markers chasing shadows during the course of the game.
He was on for 83 minutes and he got substituted to a standing ovation from the travelling fans, who were no doubt pleased to see their summer signing put up a show in the comeback draw ahead of the return leg of the Copa Del Rey tie.
In the same game Super Eagles of Nigeria World Cup 2014 ace Ramon Azeez was on from start to finish for Lugo and he played a huge role in helping his team win duels in the midfield during the game.
