Stephen Odey Can’t Stop Scoring In Switzerland, Nets For FC Zurich Against Luzern

Former MFM FC of Lagos forward Stephen Odey once again proved his high rating with a goal for FC Zurich in their 5-2 win away to FC Luzern in the Swiss top division.

Odey scored the goal which put FC Zurich 2-1 up five minutes after another Nigerian Blessing Eleke has drawn Luzern level with a goal in the 22nd minute of the seven goal thriller.

Substituted to a standing ovation with five minutes left to play in regulation time, his goal was his 9th goal of the season in 14 games. A return which clearly illustrates how far he has improved since his switch last year.

His form has however not helped him force his way back into international recognition with Nigeria but the 20 year old is high on the radar of coach Gernot Rohr of the senior national team of Nigeria.
