Jamilu Collins could move to the German Bundesliga in January if Stuttgart are able to match the demands of Paderborn regarding his transfer fee, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Stuttgart are keen on signing the 24 year old who is now the first choice left back for the senior national team of Nigeria in January but they plan to loan him back to Paderborn for the rest of the season.
Last week scouts of the club were sighted watching him in action against Holstein Kiel, a game which the Nigerian impressed after shaking off the knock he picked in their penultimate game against MSV Duisburg.
Paderborn hold the ace for his transfer as he is tied to them till the summer of 2021 but a fee in the region of €6m should be enough to tempt the second division side into parting ways with one of their consistent performers.
Owngoalnigeria.com also gathered that Paderborn are not the only team interested in his services as team from the French Ligue 1 have also sent scouts to watch him play while a La Liga team have also spoken with his agents.
