Nigeria U20 Ace Kingsley Michael Receives Double MOTM Award At Perugia, Eyes World Cup 2022

Ex Nigeria U17 star Kingsley Michael has been officially presented with the man of the match award he picked up for Serie B side in the games against Cosenza and Crotone.

19 year old Kingsley is on a season long loan deal to the Serie B side from Serie A side Bologna and he has wasted no time in settling down to life in his new surrounding ‎as he has been ever present for Perugia since his move.

Kingsley scored his first professional goal in the 1-1 draw against Cosenza and he was by far the best player for his team on that day, same way he bossed the midfield against Crotone to help his side to a 2-1 win.

His performance in both games earned him the man of the match award and although he is in line for a call up to the Nigeria U20 team, he has his sight set on the Super Eagles but specifically the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

” It’s one step at a time. Getting games is good for my confidence and like I said after Nigeria crashed out of the World Cup in Russia, my aim is to make the Super Eagles team for the World Cup in Qatar and by the grace of God, hardwork and commitment it will come to pass”, Michael told in an exclusive chat.
