Former MFM of Lagos forward Stephen Odey found the back of the net for the second time this season in a derby game by scoring the second goal for FC Zurich in a 2-0 win over Grasshoppers.
Odey tucked home FC Zurich second goal of the game with a well taken strike six minutes to full time further increasing his goal tally for the season to ten in all competitions.
In the league he has found the back of the net six times, while he has three goals in the cup and one more in the Europa League to round up his goal count for the season.
Speaking on the improvement of the 20 year old, coach of the team Ludovic Magnin said he has improved his movements in the box as well as his calmness in front of goal.
” He’s no longer in a hurry to finish off chances and his pace and movements is the way we want it. We are still working with him and hopefully he will keep working hard as well”, Magnin said while giving his take on the performance of Odey against Grasshoppers.
