Super Eagles of Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong didn’t have the best of game yesterday for Udinese in their 1-3 loss to Atalanta in a Serie A game played yesterday.
Ekong has been superb for Udinese since his transfer to the club in the summer with several highly rated strikers feeling the effect of his no nonsense style of defending.
Yesterday he was up against Colombia hitman Duvan Zapata and he failed to keep the striker in check as he scored all three goals for Atalanta to go home with the match ball, thanks to his hattrick.

Despite his struggles he was still given a rating of 6.8 by Whoscored.com in their scorecard for the players who were on display for both teams in the game and as expected Zapata got the highest rating.
