WAFU U20 Championship – Aigbogun Release Starting XI For Ghana Tie , Switch To 4-4-2, Makes Two Changes


Coach of the Nigeria U20 team Paul Aigbogun has released his starting line up for today’s game against Ghana at the ongoing WAFU U20 Championship in Togo.


The coach lined up his ward in a 4-4-2 formation in the game where they need a win or a draw to seal their spot in the knock out round of the tournament after drawing 0-0 against Niger Republic in their first game.

Aigbogun responded to the set back by introducing two players to the starting line up in Usman Bashir and Victor Boniface who impressed following his introduction in the second half ‎against Niger.

The duo of Kwara United midfielder Uche Onwuasonaya and Solomon Thompson were dropped from the starting line up for Boniface and new Plateau United signing Usman Bashir.

Up against arch rivals Ghana who were beaten in their first game by Niger Republic 1-0, the coach maintained same backline including the goalkeeper who kept goal in the first game.
