Ex Nigeria U17 Star Kingsley Michael Picks Up MVP Of The Year Award Of Serie B Side Perugia

On loan Bologna midfielder Kingsley Michael was yesterday given the award of the Most Valuable Player ( MVP) of Serie B side Perugia in their end of the year ceremony.

Michael has impressed mightily since joining the club in the summer from Bologna on a season long loan deal and with over five man of the match award to his name, he was yesterday awarded with the MVP award of the club.

His impressive form at Perugia has led to talks of a possible recall by Bologna in January to help them in their quest to remain in the Serie A as they are currently pegged in the relegation zone with their position as 16th on the 20 team log.

Tipped to be a part of the Nigeria U23 team for the start of qualifiers for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations, Michael is also putting himself in the picture of the senior national team in the future if he maintains his form.
