Former Nigeria U17 trainee Ovie Ejaria has left Scottish side Rangers where he is supposed to spend the entirety of this season on loan from English Premier League side Liverpool.
Ejaria has wiped out all post about Rangers on his social media handle and yesterday he wasn’t part of the matchday squad for the Europa League, where they crashed out after losing 0-1 to Austria Wien to finish third in their group.
Manager Steven Gerrard revealed he was left out of the squad because he is highly unsettled and although he planned to have talks with the 21 year old, it appears the midfielder has made his mind up to quit the league.
Some news sources in Scotland are saying he want to quit the Scottish Premier League due to the physical nature of the league where he has made 14 appearances with a goal and an assist to his name this season.
With 28 games played for Rangers this season he has been linked with a move to Germany or probably the Netherlands when the transfer window opens in January. He is the second Nigerian to leave the club after Sadiq Umar also returned to his parent club Roma following the termination of his loan deal.
