The possible departure of Nigeria international defender Semi Ajayi from English Championship side Rotherham United has been in the news the past few months following his impressive performances this season.

Rotherham are keen to hang on to the defender until at least the end of the season but latest report indicate that he could be gone in January with fellow English Championship side Stoke City pushing to sign him when the window opens.

Ajayi was voted the man of the match when they played Stoke City earlier this season and coupled with his performance in other games he is now the prime target of Stoke City in the January transfer window.
