Semi Ajayi To Stoke City Gather Pace As January Transfer Window Draws Near

The possible departure of Nigeria international defender Semi Ajayi from English Championship side Rotherham United has been in the news the past few months following his impressive performances this season.

Rotherham are keen to hang on to the defender until at least the end of the season but latest report indicate that he could be gone in January with fellow English Championship side Stoke City pushing to sign him when the window opens.

Ajayi was voted the man of the match when they played Stoke City earlier this season and coupled with his performance in other games he is now the prime target of Stoke City in the January transfer window.

24 year old Ajayi is yet to agree a new deal to extend his stay at Rotherham United with two years left to run on his current deal at the club where he has made 23 appearance this season in all competitions.
