Newly appointed coach of Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solsksjaer will line up his players in a formation which is more attack minded than it was under sacked manager Jose Mourinho according to Molde forward Leke James .
Solsksjaer will handle Manchester United till the end of the season following the sacking of manager Jose Mourinho after two and half years in charge of the club.
Leke played under the interim manager of Manchester United at Molde last season and the Nigerian has revealed how the coach want his team set up for games.
” No doubt he love to play with his team dictating the pace particularly in attack. He is aware of how important it is to defend but his philosophy is more of playing an attacking brand of football than defending”, Leke told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat in Kaduna.
Speaking on his appointment as coach, the 26 year old Nigerian said the appointment came to him and other players as a shock before saying the coach has done enough to earn the job.
” His record is there for all to see considering the country he is coaching. So he deserve the job but it did come to us as a surprise because it happened really quick, very very quick “, he concluded.
