Osimhen Inspires Charleroi To Comeback Win Against German Side St. Pauli

On loan Wolfsburg forward Victor Osimhen was once again inspirational for his loan side Charleroi as they secure a 3-2 win over German second division side St. Pauli in a friendly game ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the league in Belgium.

Osimhen and other first team players were given a rest in the game but with Charleroi trailing 0-2 he was among the players introduced in the second half of the game which was played for an hour with both halves lasting 30 minutes each.

The Nigerian provided the assist for the first goal scored by Charleroi to bring scores to 2-1 and came close to scoring twice, once with a firm header that narrowly sailed wide and the other a well hit drive from range.

He showed the same form that has helped him to 8 league goals this season from 16 games for the modest side who are slowly becoming the surprise package of the Belgium top division this season.
