Kano Pillars forward Junior Lokosa will on Monday sign the dotted line on a four year deal with African Champions Esperance to bring an end to his quest to take his trade abroad, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Lokosa received the offer from Esperance who are the present champions of the CAF Champions League and it is believed he has agreed to the content of the deal proposed by the club.
Already the club has sent him an invitation and he is due to arrive in Tunisia this weekend for a routine medical before penning the deal on Monday as the option of trial wasn’t mentioned in the proposal.
24 year old Lokosa has been unlucky in his quest to take his trade abroad since his goal scoring feat for Kano Pillars last season. He didn’t impress when he had trials in Belgium, Norway and China last year.
He made Nigeria’s provisional list for the World Cup in Russia but didn’t make the squad for the tournament proper and there’s every likelihood he will join the club alongside former Nigeria U17 defender Lukman Zakari who has impressed in trails with the team.
