Over a thousand kits will be donated to children of the less previleged by Busola Akinyemi when he launches his foundation in Oyo State, Ibadan precisely on the 20th of April 2019, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
The London based football enthusiast will also use the event to host the inaugural Onechild Onekit initiative in a Spring soccer clinic, which will have former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju and Samson Siasia who has handled several national youth teams of Nigeria including the senior national team of Nigeria in attendance.
Male and female children within the age of 3-18 years will be given free soccer kits like jerseys, boots, shinguard, hose and gloves according to the host Busola Akinyemi.
Speaking to Owngoalnigeria.com, Akinyemi said the event which has been endorsed by several football super stars will hopefully be held twice a year to help children interested in football to achieve their aim.
” Special thanks must be given to several senior national team players of Nigeria and also from other nations who have backed this project. Hopefully it will be held twice a year. The foundation is non-profitable to us as a foundation, our dream is to help kids who can’t afford playing kits get some for their dream to come to pass”, he said.
