One player who has taken the Nigeria U20 camp in Germany for the World Youth Championship is Brooke House Academy left footed forward Success Makanjuola, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Makanjuola has impressed playing from the left side of attack with his quick feet, pace and skills putting defenders on their toes when he is up against them in training.
His form means he will likely start or play a part in tomorrow’s friendly game against Saudi Arabia in Vienna, where a positive impression on the coaches will likely earn him a spot in the final squad for the tournament which will take place in Poland.
A member of the 2017 Nigeria U17 team that failed to qualify for the World Youth Championship, he has shown tremendous improvement the last two years and he could leave Brooke House Football Academy this summer.
With Chukwueze ruling himself out of the tournament, he will fancy his chance of making the final cut for the tournament on account of the fact that the team is short of left footed players.
