Nnamdi Ofoborh who made the bench of Bournemouth in their 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League will team up with the Nigeria U20 team in Germany for preparations ahead of the World Youth Championship.

Club duties kept the 19 year old in England but after failing to make his first team bow for Bournemouth despite making the bench against Spurs he will arrive the camp of the Nigerian team on Monday 6th of May 2019.

Ofoborh is not entirely new to the Nigeria U20 team as he has already played for the team in a double legged friendly against Egypt last year and would have made the squad for the U20 AFCON if not for club ‎duties.

Last season he was voted the club’s youth player of the year and he was handed an improved contract earlier this season to secure his future at the club with a first team spot firmly in his sight next season.
