Hot in demand former Nigeria youth international Lukman Zakari enhanced his reputation with a brace for Latvian side FS Metta to help them to a 2-2 draw away to RFS.

Zakari showed the instinct of a striker with his first goal from a corner kick to put his side ahead when he ventured forward from his role as one of the two central defenders of the team.

His team saw their lead reduced six minutes after the half time break before falling behind 1-2 with fourteen minutes left to play in the game but deep into stoppage time Zakari struck to break the heart of fans of the home team.

This time around he somehow abandoned his defensive duties in a search of a leveller for his team and ‎he got it in style by turning home a cross which was slightly behind him with a backheel and in the process earned his team a point on the road.

The former U17 World Youth Championship winner has emerged as one of the best players in Latvia this season with a host of clubs including the Belgium ‎league duo of Genk and Standard Liege among his suitors.
