Kelechi Nwakali will be sold by Arsenal this season if the club get a bid in the region of £1m for the midfielder who was reportedly signed for around £3m after his exploits at the 2015 World Youth Championship where he was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
The decision to let go of the 20 year old permanently was taken after he failed to command a regular spot in the B team of Porto, hence couldn’t make the step up to the main team which could have made Porto activate the clause of signing him permanently.
Visa issues has kept him in Nigeria since playing for Nigeria U23 and that cost him as many as four games before his loan officially expired after the last round of games last weekend meaning he will return back to Arsenal where a decision has been taken on his future according to exclusive reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com.
With two years to run on his deal, Arsenal are keen on letting him leave on a permanent transfer with a further sale clause if a fee close to £1m is lodged for his services before the end of the transfer window which just opened.
