Inter-Milan Propose Co-ownership Deal In Bid To Sign Nigeria U23 Forward Okereke From Spezia

21 year old Nigeria U23 national team forward David Okereke of Italian Serie B side Spezia is in line for a move to Inter-Milan despite interest in his services from clubs in England.

Okereke has ten goals and 12 assists for Spezia who are presently in the promotion playoff pushing for promotion to the Italian Serie A ‎also has offers from teams in Belgium.

However Inter-Milan are ahead of the teams jostling for his signature as he want to remain in Italy, where he has spent the last three seasons following his move from Abuja Football Academy at the age of 18.

Inter-Milan have opened talks with Sepzia and a co-ownership ‎deal is what they are offering aside a payment of €8m as transfer fee for the forward who can also operate from the wings.

The idea is for Okereke to remain with Spezia if they gain promotion to the Serie A as he will be guaranteed games to further aid his development but if they fail to then he will be loaned out to a Serie A team, where he will be assured regular playing time.
