As part of their preparations for their upcoming engagement at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, the Super Eagles of Nigeria had a practice game among themselves during this evening training session.
Under the watchful eyes of coach Gernot Rohr, the players were put through their paces before splitting into two groups of 12 players each for a test game among themselves.
The game ended 2-1 in favor of the team in green which had the likes of captain John Obi Mikel, Alex Iwobi,Samuel Kalu, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ola Aina and Paul Onuach‎u.
Onuachu and Chukwueze got the goals while Kelechi Iheanacho scored for his team which had Henry Onyekuru, Jamilu Collins, Ahmed Musa, John Ogu and Victor Osimhen in their fold.
The team will train tomorrow just once as they will take on Zimbabwe in a test game on Saturday before departing for their training camp in Tunisia from where they will arrive Egypt for the tournament proper.
