Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr will make changes to his back four for the game against Burundi with Kenneth Omeruo getting a start ahead of Leon Balogun.
Balogun missed the last warm up game of the Super Eagles against Senegal which they lost 0-1 and it appears he is still not fit enough as Rohr has omitted him from his starting lineup for the Burundi game.
Omeruo who had a fairly successful season with Levante will pair William Troost-Ekong in central defence as part of a back four according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team.
The pair as reported by this portal during our training reports will be saddled with the responsibility of keeping Saido Berahino in check for the game, which Nigeria will approach in a 4-3-3 formation when it starts by 6pm.
