Details Of Super Eagles Training – Osimhen Shines In Shooting Drills, Team Trained On Penalty Kicks

The Super Eagles of Nigeria had their penultimate training ahead of their AFCON 2019 round of 16 clash against the Atlas Lion of Cameroon on Saturday.

Owngoalnigeria.com was at the training session where the team trained for around two hours as they step up preparations for the knock out tie against their rivals.

During the session, the strikers of the team ‎had a shooting practice where they were up against the goalkeepers of the team with Charleroi striker Victor Osimhen emerging as one of the best in terms of accuracy as all of his efforts were on target.

Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi came out tops in terms of save made during the drills, some save more than second choice Ikechukwu Ezenwa. The team later practiced penalty kicks.

Most of the players succeeded with their spot kicks in what was a dress rehearsal incase the game against Cameroon stretches into penalty kicks after extra time. What should however worry fans of the team is that none of the goalkeepers was able to save more than one spot kick.
