Former Kwara United and Nigeria U20 forward Yahaya Adamu has terminated his deal with Iranian side Bagdad SC in a bid to secure a move to a team in Europe, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Adamu who took the Nigerian league by storm four seasons ago as a rookie at Kwara United has been in the Middle East the past four years since his one year stint in Vietnam with Quang Nam FC.
Now back in Kaduna, the 25 year old is currently studying offers from teams in the Scandinavian notably Sweden and Norway although there have been inquiry from a team in Belgium.
According to the player’s representative Ruqayyah Yunus, a move to the United Arab Emirates is also been discussed although his priority is to move to a club in Europe where he was initially billed to start his career in 2013 when he starred for the Nigeria U20 team during qualifiers for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
