Gernot Rohr has revealed to the players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria his lineup for today’s AFCON 2019 semi-final game against Algeria, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The Franco-German coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the first time since the start of the tournament named same lineup for back to back matches as he has maintained same players who started in the 2-1 win over South Africa in the quarter final.

Rohr did not just pick same players, he also maintained same formation which is the 4-2-3-1 when the team is without the ball and 4-3-3 when with the ball. The system they have been playing since the start of the tournament.

Daniel Akpeyi starts in goal with a back four of William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, Jamilu Collins and Chidozie Awaziem in front of him while in the midfield the trio of Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo ‎keep their place in the middle.

Ahmed Musa will play from the left with Samuel Chukwueze on the right and Odion Ighalo will once again lead the attack of the team as the main striker, where he will be hoping to add to the three goals he has so far scored at the tournament.
