The Nigeria U20 team stepped up preparations for their engagements at the All Africa Games with a commanding 4-0 win over Gwarimpa Stars FC in a friendly game played at their training base in Abuja.
MFM of Lagos forward Ghali Ahmed scored a hattrick with Emeka Chinonso scoring the other goal for the boys of coach Paul Aigbogun in what was a total performance from the Flying Eagles.
Ghali grabbed his hattrick with smart decision making in front of goal including a bullet header from a cross by Saheed Jibril who was by far the best player on the pitch.
The Plateau United forward made himself unplayable from start to finish and all though he didn’t get among the goals, he provided three assists including for the fourth goal scored by Emeka.
Emeka’s effort was too hot for the goalkeeper of Gwarimpa Stars FC from a pass from Jibril and the goal which sealed the win was greeted with applauses from the fans who came to see the game.
