Two new names has been added to the list of foreign players expected to team up with the Nigeria U23 team ahead of their U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game against Sudan next month, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Coach Imama Amapakabo called up 35 players yesterday most based at home for the set phase of camping for the September 5th game away to Sudan with the reverse tie scheduled for 10th of same month.
Imama kept faith with the bulk of the foreign based players he used for the double legged qualifier game against Libya which they won 4-2 on aggregate to set up the clash against Sudan.
He has however invited two new players in Goteborg of Sweden 19 year old sensation Alhassan Yusuf and Heerenveen rave of the moment Chidera Ejuke who scored in his first game for his Dutch side following his move from Norwegian side Valerenga.
The duo are for now the only two new names in the list which will be made public in two weeks time due to the fact that the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) still need to sort out the availability of the players they plan to invite.
