Samuel Chukwueze has been rewarded for the fine season he had last time out with the award of the club revelation of the year at Villarreal 2018 /2019 awards.
Chukwueze had his breakthrough season last year at the club with five league goals to his name from 26 games, two in three Copa Del Rey games and one goal in the Europa League in what was not too good a season for the Yellow Submarines.
The Nigerian who made his leap from the U19s to the first team in just a year was yesterday honoured with the award alongside his team captain Santi Cazorla who was voted the best player of the club for last season.
Cameroonian forward Tarl Toko Ekambi finished as top scorer for the club with ten goals in the league, five in Copa Del Rey and three in the Europa League and his effort earned him the top scorer award.
Villarreal drew their opening Laliga game 4-4 against Granada with Chukwueze scoring one of the goals ahead of their next weekend game against Levante before a playing host to league giants Real Madrid.
