Out of favour Super Eagles of Nigeria left full back Kingsley Madu has joined Danish side Odense Boldklub from Belgium side Zulte- Waregem on a one year deal, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Madu who has three caps for the senior national team of Nigeria after progressing from the U20s where he played seven games through the U23s where he also played four times has finally put an end to his search for a club.
The 23 year old suffered a serious injury which kept him out for a season and upon his return joined second division Belgium side Roeselare last season on loan for the concluding part of the 2018 / 2019 season and played ten games with one assist and a goal to his name.
His move to Odense came after he impressed in two games for the reserve team in the Reserveligaen on the 12th and 19th of August respectively as the team want to be sure of his match fitness and physical condition before handing him a contract.
Madu will be hoping to stamp his authority in the team and possibly earn a recall to the senior national team of Nigeria in the nearest future as he is not entirely new to the present coach Gernot Rohr who once invited him.
