19 year old Arsenal defender Joseph Olowu has explained why he made up his mind to play for Nigeria despite the fact that he is eligible to play for England as well.

The Arsenal U23 defender was suppose to be a part of the Nigeria U20 team for the World Youth Championship in Poland but injury made him miss out on a spot in the team.

Despite the setback, he still travelled to Poland to watch and cheer the Nigerian team who were sent packing from the tournament in the round of 16 by Senegal.
