Lanky Nigeria U20 forward Emeka Chinonso today turned 18 and immediately sparked a tug of war for his signature amont teams who have been monitoring him during the course of the ongoing Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco.
Emeka scored a late leveller that secured the passage for Nigeria to the semi-final and he also came close to scoring thrice when he was introduced in the semi-final game against Mali few days ago.
The forward who is a product of Brooke House Academy in England will once again play a part when they take on Burkina Faso in the gold medal match and this time around scouts will watch with keen interest.
A close friend to Leganes bound Success Makanjuola, the forward is viewed by many as a future senior international for Nigeria and at 18, the time to make an impression is now as he has clocked the age to be eligible for a transfer.
