Spanish second division side Huesca have completed the process of signing Nigeria youth international Kelechi Nwakali on a free transfer from Arsenal, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Nwakali will join the club on a three years deal but will spend the first six months on loan to to third division side Union Deportiva Logrones before returning back to the team in January, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The club believe the 21 year old need more game time to further develop before he is ready to aid their push to return back to the Laliga following relegation last season.
It took almost an entire month for them to sign Nwakali who has been on the books of Arsenal for three years but has spent time on loan with little success most recently with the B team of Portuguese side FC Porto.
Arsenal told the midfielder at the start of the season that they are willing to let him leave on a free but they also inserted a 20 percent sell on clause in the agreement that took him on loan to Huesca.
