The coach of the Nigeria U23 team has revealed his lineup for today’s U23 Cup of Nations qualifiers game against Sudan in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Imama named former Nigeria U17 team shot stopper Adamu Abubakar in goal with John Lazarus, Ebube Duru, Stephen Manyo and Ndah Harold Oliseh as the back four.
In the midfield, captain Azubuike Okechukwu will play alongside Ndidfreke Effiong while in attack the quartet of Blessing Olabiran, Sunday Faleye, Stephen Odey and Taiwo Awoniyi were picked by the former coach of Enugu Rangers.
Olabiran will play from the right while Faleye will operate from the left with Awoniyi slightly ahead of Odey as he will lead the attack of the team in what looks like a 4-2-4 formation.
