The lineup of the Super Eagles of Nigeria for today’s game against Ukraine has been revealed to the players of the team, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Coach Gernot Rohr lined up his team in a 4-3-3 formation and handed debut to Rangers of Scotland midfielder Joe Aribo, who starts in midfield alongside Oghenekaro Etebo and Alex Iwobi who will play in the number ten role.
The coach also preferred Semi Ajayi to Leon Balogun in central defence and he will pair captain for today William Troost-Ekong with Ola Aina playing as right fullback while Jamilu Collins will man the left full back position.
In attack as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, the coach settled for the trio of Samuel Kalu, Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen with Kalu playing from the left, Chukwueze on the right and Osimhen playing as the arrow head of the attack.
