Coach of French Ligue 1 side Nantes has charged referees handling games of his team to provide protection to their Nigerian wing forward Moses Simon in the wake of their 1-2 loss to Strasbourg in the league last weekend.

Christian Gourcuff was left angry with the tackles Simon suffered in the game over the weekend with the Nigerian at the receiving end of tackles which the coach think should have earned his team a freekick.

After the game, Simon was wrapped in ice and Gourcuff who was angry over the result as his team threw away a first half lead also raged at the kicks aimed at Simon who is viewed as one of the main players at Nantes.
