An explanation on why the senior national team of Brazil decided to play a friendly game against Nigeria has been revealed by coach of the team Tite, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
The game which is scheduled to take place on the 13th of October in Singapore came to many as a surprise considering that it was never mentioned as part of the plans of the team after the last round of international games.
Explaining Tite said they need the games against Senegal and later Nigeria will provide his team with a physical test which will come handy in their competitive games later in the year.
Nigeria drew 2-2 against Ukraine in the last round of international games and their performance in the game according to Tite means they will be doing themselves no good if they underestimate the abilities of the West African team.
Ukraine came from two goals down to draw 2-2 against the Super Eagles and according to Tite, Nigeria showed a lot in that game which his team will be wary of when they clash next month.
