Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Paul Onuachu is proving himself to be a shrewd bargain for Belgium side Genk with his third goal in four games in their 3-0 Cup win over , Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Three days ago, Onuachu followed up his maiden goal for the club against Charleroi with another in their 3-1 win over KV Oostende in a league game before adding another yesterday.
Paired in attack with his Nigerian compatriot Stephen Odey, the 25 year old watched on as Odey redeemed himself from missing two sitters in the first half with the first goal of the game one minute before the hour mark.
The goal was Odey’s first since his move from FC Zurich in the summer, a welcome relief for the former MFM forward as he has been in and out of the squad for games since the signing of Onuachu.
Seven minutes before full time, Onuachu wrapped up the win with yet another goal to his name by heading home a cross after he was left unmarked in the box of KSK Ronse to maintain his fine start to life in front of goal at the club.
