Nigeria international forward Moses Simon shocked the medical crew of his loan side Nantes by recovering in record time to help his team get back to winning ways yesterday as they defeated Rennes 1-0, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Simon who is at the club on a season long loan deal from Levante was substituted on Friday with swells around his knee as Nantes let slip a 0-1 lead to lose 1-2 against Strasbourg.
He was expected to miss at least ten days by the medical team of the club but to the surprise of medical crew and even coach Christian Gourcuff, the Nigerian returned to training two days after the incident.
Yesterday he was even on from start to finish in the win over Rennes and his performance earned him one of the highest rating among players of Nantes who took part in the game.
