Chidera Ejuke Catches Rohr’s Attention After Latest Brace For Heerenveen In Dutch League

Former Nigeria U17 trainee Chidera Ejuke ‎has joined the list of players coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr is watching closely in view of a call up to the senior national team of Nigeria, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.

Ejuke has been in fine form for SC Heerenveen since joining them in the summer from Norwegian side Valerenga and he once again proved his usefulness to the team with a brace in their 3-0 win over VVV Venlo.

The brace took his goal count for the season to four in eight games, two short of his most prolific season since moving to Europe which was last season where he scored six times in 14 matches for Valerenga.

Owngoalnigeria.com gathered from sources close to Rohr that the 21 year old has been pencilled down for further scouting in view of a call up to the senior national team in the future.

He was linked with a call up to the U23s but surprisingly his name wasn’t included in the list of foreign based players despite the list coming three days after he scored against league giant Ajax Amsterdam.
